Valdez, Alaska May 25, 2021 In partnership with the Valdez Pioneers of Alaska, the Valdez Museum is pleased to announce that Old Town Walking Tours are ready to enjoy. Pioneers of Alaska Igloos #7 and #12 placed the historic markers on white posts at the original townsite and the Valdez Museum created a printed guide, accessible online or at the Valdez Museum. The guide provides only a part of Old Town that is accessible on foot.
There are 18 stops where you can learn more about life in the Original Townsite. The online tour can be accessed here.
