The Valdez Museum mounts 4 to 5 temporary exhibits annually in its Egan Commons gallery. Temporary exhibits typically display the works of local artists, or artwork relevant to the presentation of interpretation of the history and culture of Prince William Sound, the Copper River Basin, and Valdez, Alaska; other temporary exhibits explore the history of Valdez and the surrounding region. Exhibits are generally booked 2 to 3 years in advance. Inquiries about exhibition opportunities can be directed to Caren Oberg.
