Kids aged 7 to 14 can participate in this FREE model sail boat racing event held at the Kelsey Dock on August 17th from 12 pm to 2 pm. The race coincides with the “Alaskan Marine Highway 50th Anniversary Celebration.” The fastest boat wins the grand prize, a $500 Golden Ticket. Participating boats may be made from a kit or created from scratch. All boats must sport a hull, rudder, keel, mast and sail.
