Take a new look at quilting, one of Valdez’s most popular indoor pastimes, through the eyes of local artists who push the boundaries of traditional quilting. From innovative use of materials, to free form compositions, to new expressions of form such as books and notebook covers, this fall/winter show will brighten the museum for the holiday season. Join us at the museum to view these latest explorations in this venerable art form, accompanied by artist’s workshops and demonstrations throughout the run of the show.
