Spring Into Art 2020 (SAS) features artwork by Valdez students, pre-school through 12th grade, including home school students. There are over 300 pieces of artwork submitted by these young artists now on display at the Main Museum on Egan Drive. Normally SAS is a collaboration between the Museum and the Valdez Consortium Library, but due to COVID-19 closures mandated by Governor Dunleavy which began in mid-March, all student artwork is being shown in just one venue. The Main Museum reopened to the public on July 1, 2020, and Spring Into Art 2020 remains on display in the Egan Commons through September 27, 2020.
