This once-in-a decade effort to count the population of the United States started on January 21, 2020 in Toksook Bay, Alaska and will continue throughout the state. Given its immense size and number of remote villages, taking a comprehensive count of all Alaska residents presents a major challenge. The TNHT on Feb. 25^th will look at the history and evolution of the U.S. Census in Alaska.
